Made + Felt, hidden gem in Cammeray

The vision was enticing, the scent of fresh pine soothing & refreshing at the same time & all with the sound of jazz in the background. Once inside, you will forget that you are in a tucked away leafy lane of Cammeray. Enter from the back, it’s so much more fun and parking is simple. Just follow the scent, sound & the shimmer & sparkle. Yes, we have found another delightful & we mean delightful, little shop with home accessories.

We spoke to owner of Made + Felt, Magda, who is a true European with flair & is a sought-after interior designer, with a passion for all things delicate & beautiful. When it comes to decorating, she really had some wisdom to share, – “it’s not only about adding new things to a home but utilizing the owners already existing & treasured pieces in a complimentary way …”  

How true is that. We all have something at home that we would never part with, like a picture, a cushion, or a tattered throw but it holds memories, memories that are dear to you. 

So it follows that Magda, who probably loves shopping more than we do, has filled her store with so many, really very many beautiful pieces. Gorgeous accent pieces for your home, so if you are looking to sprinkle a bit of elegance, charm or even a bit of yesteryear magic, then Made + Felt is just the place.  

Made + Felt offers exquisite fabric options, along with glass wear imported from Poland, cushions from New York, candles from London just like at Liberty Department store, books that make sweet gifts & precious Christmas baubles & decorations to get into the seasons spirit. 

Our absolute favourite was the Mr Fox candle holder, it will certainly be the Centerpiece of our décor this Christmas.
